Innotrans 2016 edition has been very successful for Smart Motors, with the visit of companies in the railway maintenances field all over the world. We welcome your interest and hope we will meet again soon.

We have released the CIVI, a new product that monitors all types of track circuits. We have integrated the CIVI in the Monitoring System in order to monitor all the signal infrastucture from the same application.
CIVI detects occupied and free state of the track circuits and it estimates the actual shunt for the occupied state. CIVI allows the maintenance manager to properly plan maintenance operations to focus on the worst track circuits in the rail network.

Smart Motors launches a new product. Soc is a device that allows measuring the test bars gap by computer vision. The device is capable of performing up to four measurements per second generating alarms when the setup of the gap is not correct.

It also allows to take pictures of the bars at any time. This pictures will be accessible through the web client for further analysis.

When there is a problem with the gap, the system takes an automatic picture and adds it to the alert report to facilitate the analysis of the problem.

Smart motors project is today 10 years old. It has been a long road in which we have tried to improve every year and we are certain to have succeeded in doing so. At this point we have an established product line that has been installed on the main Spanish rail operators and we are currently expanding the net of monitored point machines.

We are expanding into new international markets and closing agreements with major partners to help us meet our goals of internationalization in the coming years.

These 10 years have been a great adventure and we hope it to continue for many more.

 

We have signed a comercial agreement with Weidmüller to manufacture the new DAEN Lite device. We hope that the junction of their manufacturing experience and our knowledge about point machine monitoring will allow to produce really reliable and useful devices. This is only the starting point of a what we think it will be an extremely productive partnership.
